The process of buying a home involves a lot of paperwork. Matic, a mortgage-based start-up, wanted to turn the process into something that is both fun and easy — two feelings people never associate with home-buying. I worked with HPZ to design a conceptual mobile app for Matic.

Our research phase turned up some helpful exemplars which led us to combine the best features of a chatbot (loan officer) and educational flashcards (teaching the ABCs of home buying). Home buyers could submit information without getting weighed down by the drudgery of filling out forms. With that, we created a friendly, fun experience that empowers and educates customers.
